WHAT SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED IN YOU?
Hello friends, I thought I’d share a post from social media today since it is so dear to my heart and thought it might bring a little cheer your way on the last of these cold wintery days!
I look out at yet another Northwest Iowa snow storm…in middle APRIL!
But I force myself to remember that spring is coming and with it beautiful growth. I love verses that reflect on growth. That is what life is all about to me. ‘A partnership with God, growing in our faith, talent, and spirit.’
I have seen magnificent work at hand, simply by planting and watering a seed.
Something that rocks my world and brings me such awe and passion is to see individuals do the watering upon God’s seed deeply planted in their heart, mind, and soul.
I love it when the stem just barely peeks out from the ground. I smile as it changes. I pray for them, and love on them, as they are pruned.
I shout songs of thanksgiving as they bloom and raise my hands in honor as they bear fruit.
I love to watch people grow. I love to see God’s mighty work at hand.
1 Corinthians 3:6-8 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.
Feed that seed- with the Word, with great music and worship, and with loving friends and family,
