We’re Good Souls

You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.
1 Corinthians 7:23

This is a pretty great verse to reflect on today. I love knowing that when our souls are partnered with God, faithful and true to our knowledge of Christ’s work in us- we are redeemed. We can go to bed each night knowing we are under the protection of our savior. And we will awake renewed and ready to start a new day each morning.

Sure we fall short, absolutely we are not perfect, but today I want us to awake to the knowledge that a heart partnered with God is one not partnered with man. In this life our purpose is to do right, our purpose it to please Him, our purpose is to love….and we can rest in the knowledge that- ‘We WILL never be perfect’ and we DO NOT need to be, with Christ as our savior!

Today just remind yourself of who you are partnered with… the Lord or man. Then, simply do your best to love and be loved. Live within the fullness you have been given and give back abundantly. Make efforts to learn a little from yesterday’s mistakes, and lead others with the knowledge and insight you’ve gained out of your redemption.
