Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to discover that it is our GRACIOUS FATHER who is the rock at the very bottom.

I got a new client today, from across the country. Yet this individual said something I am beginning to hear more often, regardless of age or geographics.

"I have tried everything else... I just thought... the only thing I haven't tried is God."

This melts my heart. What a gracious and loving God we have. Whether we live under the arms of our Father each and every day or not, it is a common thing to finally turn to our Father in hard times. Let's not be down hearted about it. Instead, let's rejoice in His gracious and unconditional love. This image is perfect to me. It seems the rock is circling 'man' with protection and offering him vision... tucked up there within that great rock. And, don't lose hope in mankind for taking God last. It is by calling out to Him in desperation- and with God's unwavering responds- that we gain the faith in Him that we never knew could exist. Then we are compelled to stay close, call on God quicker, and faithfully commit ourselves to Him and all His glory. Remember and embrace always, during good times and bad... that God is our rock! "For who is God, besides the LORD? And who is a rock, besides our God 2 Samuel 22:32  For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God, Psalm 18:31

 "There is no one holy like the LORD, Indeed, there is no one besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:2
