Sometimes we must leap!

Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. Ecclesiastes 11:4
I thought tonight might be a good night to do a posting on taking risks. Oh I’ve never been one to do real dangerous things. The risks I am talking about tonight are risks that require stepping out in faith.
This kind of risk taking can be equally as terrifying and how I try to determine whether to act or not is by looking closely at my intention. Waiting for everything to be just perfect can often leave us frozen and missing out. When considering my intention, I look closely at whether I feel God placed the idea or opportunity into my heart- or did I.
Tonight consider the things you feel God may have placing in your heart and give a little thought on why you have or haven’t made work of it yet. Maybe it just wasn’t right and you will know that if it is so. 🙂 I’ve seen many of you go through some big changes over the last year. Some heading back to home to stay with kids, other stepping out into the workforce after years off. Some changing career paths and other getting more involved in the community and so on.
Whatever your desire, check your intention, assure God is a part of why this desire dwells in your heart, and pray tonight how you could step out in faith.
