Where should we sit? In a secure seat! By our union.

…and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:6

How secure do your days feel? How secure is our resting place? This verse reminds me of my Awaking the Living Legacy’s ‘Consider the Choice’ Chapter titled ‘A Legacy For You’. This chapter compels us to truly consider where we rest our hopes, dreams, …life. I pull at us throughout the whole book to let the power of Jesus’s gift of eternal life fill us up and give us rest and assurance. This verse speaks of the security we gain from this union of us, with Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.

I particularly like this image. Is this where we want to sit, almost in heaven? On a precarious seat?

Let’s set firm our hearts, minds, and souls….in the truth of Ephesians 2:6. Let us all take seat beside THEM. We are EACH being offered this place of honor through the virtue of Christ’s amazing love and grace for us! Let’s gain and use the strength, support, grace, wisdom, peace, and so much more by this most amazing gift we have in CHRIST. And let’s show our gratefulness by living out one great command. Love, above all LOVE.
