Mastering the art of dealing with difficult people is truly one of our life’s BIGGEST gifts.

I spend a lot of time coaching on this matter. I LOVE watching folks recognize first, that they are being treated poorly. Then, to be aware of how it is affecting them, and what they can do about it.

CONSIDER THE PROBLEM: Which do you find most difficult? (This should get you intrigued. There is so much power in identifying problems.)

It isn’t enough to just recognize, in detail, what we are dealing with when we are around difficult people. We also need to be aware of how these behaviors are affecting our lives, homes, workplaces, and communities.

CONSIDER THE WORD: Absolutely! This training is designed for our Legacy Leaders (Christian leaders raising up Christian leaders). So what do the Legacy Leaders do?…We look to the Word! Creating a habit of turning to the Triune. (We call this, A HEART OF HABITUE…Try our Heart of Habitue assessment!)

Here we will look to Jesus as our example on how to ‘deal’, as well as what the Word tells us.

CONSIDER THE GIFT: There is nothing like the reinforcing promises of the Almighty to help propel us into greatness. After we look closely at what God is asking us to do in these situations, we will reflect on the gifts that our lives and the lives of those we love and serve will receive by these changes.

CONSIDER THE CHOICE: I will leave you with a tool to help you put some of these concepts into action… Then, it’s up to you!

Difficult people can truly make the environment around them toxic. We need to remember that love and God’s power truly is greater and more powerful than anything dark or negative. We need to tap into it and USE IT!

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18
