ATTITUDE OVER APTITUDE

Feeling overwhelmed with so much to do (not reaching goals-big problems that are too much), lost or confused about where to go next, literally feeling like you don’t want to get out of bed, it all seems too much?
So let’s use the 4-step process FOR living within your sweet spot…and learn to elevate past overwhelm/despair
THE PROBLEM:
We all feel this way sometimes so I cannot say this is the actual problem… because we see folks move past these feelings and soar…MAYBE THE PROBLEM LIES IN WHEN WE DON’T KNOW HOW TO MOVE PAST?
See, I’m convinced the problem isn’t that we feel this way…the problem begins when we begin to live into these feelings of overwhelm and despair or defeat. I’ve literally caught myself in this place of overwhelm, defeat, resistance or confusion and now learn to test MY WILL not Gods.
That’s what today’s show is about….
Not living in an attitude of defeat.
Rather stepping into a positive position with the Holy Spirit.
THE WORD:
CRUX OF IT ALL… Living in the world or walking with the Holy Spirit…. (careful… HOLY SPIRIT).
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9.

HOW #1 Invite the trinity into your life
LEARN TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT of the world or of the spirit I’m so passionate about this…. Legacy leaders
Romans chapter 8 (8-10 Doing in L.L. all of September) There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.[a] 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you[b] free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,[c] he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus[d] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

HOW #2 fill up – it’s free will and if you don’t the world will.
FILL UP WITH GOODNESS: Think of you brain like a cup…my new cover is a cup for a reason. My cup runnith over… If you do not put God and goodness in then you are giving up space for anything you hear or see to fill that space up. In November LL we I’m teaching all about the power of our thoughts.

HOW #3 recognize – darkness at work…AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
LAYING IN BED, STUCK ON THE COUCH, GOING INTO SHUT DOWN, SELF-LOATH, POOR PERFORMANCE: This is the whole elevate part. Once you see that your mind is in a place not of God force yourself up. Call on God, rebuke the dark-confusion, doubt, overwhelm, despair….
-rebuke it
-state it as not from God
-ask for God to give you to move forward in HIM (the Spirit) power here
-the step—-this is the blind faith part…the diligent part…AND YOU WILL BE BLESSED
-GIVE HIM THANKS
recognize – darkness at work…AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
HOW #4 repent – Satan will use our mistakes or those of others to bring us down.
REPENT: SO IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU’VE DONE…GIVE IT UP SO HE CANNOT GET THE FOOTHOLD ON YOU. We will make mistakes…it’s okay…we (and/or our loved ones) do not need to live in them.
Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
repent– Satan will use our mistakes or those of others to bring us down.
THE GIFT: POWER, ELEVATION, AND PEACE
THE CHOICE: ALWAYS DOWN TO FREE WILL
- Invite Trinity- through Christ then the Holy Spirit dwells in us.
- Fill up- if you don’t the world will
- Recognize- so you don’t stay there (rebuke, ask for help, call on power you don’t have alone, step out in blind faith and then give thanks
- Repent- sin is way Satan gets in… so give it up

Donna: It’s a mind game that I battle with. I follow your leadership training also being a faith-based entrepreneur. I know where I get stuck it is lack of belief in ME. I believe in God it isn’t him that I doubt it is my capabilities to carry out what he is asking me. How do I get over this?
