Make Your Absence Felt

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
One little sentence. “Love one another.” Why are these three small words so powerful, so challenging, so important? Because- this command is everything.
Truth be told, loving one anther is the easiest thing in the world to do (we were designed to do this). At the same time, it’s one of the most difficult things in the world to do because we are “IN” the flesh and “IN” this sinful world.
But keep in mind my first comment…We were designed to do it! Designed by the Almighty (the one who is ‘in-of-and ABOVE the world) to love and be loved. We have been, and still are, taught to do this very thing by the Holy Spirit. We have had the most amazing example of a man, who walked this very earth. He lived and breathed in this very land, loving us enough to not only show us how to ‘do love right’, he then died FOR us…. understanding JUST HOW HARD THIS TASK IS TO DO HERE!
But don’t be discouraged, because of Jesus, we are redeemed. Today, simply do your best to love and be love. Call on God for His eyes as you interact with others. If you find yourself disengaged or turned inward, listen to the Holy Spirit- he who will spur you. And at night, send your mishaps upward- letting Christ cleanse you once again! Last, give your glories to God knowing He was your faithful loving guide!
Have a beautiful LOVING day!
