LETTING GO

FALL SHOWS US HOW BEAUTIFUL IT CAN BE TO LET GO
I absolutely love fall. I love the beauty and the change of season. To enjoy this season we embrace the letting go of what is dying, and graciously welcome some time of ‘hibernation’. Knowing that with a winter of ‘homing in and getting grounded’ as I call it, new life will bloom come spring.
Consider what you need to let go of. It might be a beautiful thing to release what is dying in your life and to ‘home into God’, remain grounded in your faith, for a season.
Let’s embrace the places of our life that may be bitter and of wrath. Then let’s prayerfully invite growth, slow down for answers, and the transforming power of Jesus to work in our lives.
It’s exciting to see what new growth He may spring up in us.
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32
