How Wise Are Our Responses?

It’s Scripture Sunday I think these three pieces of scripture are perfect. It is so hard to respond graciously, as God calls us, and yet remain a good strong example and leader. When someone hurts us or others, ignores rules and righteousness, or rebukes our Father and goodness… it becomes very difficult. I want us to be strong, poised, and wise Christian leaders for our Father.
Let’s take a look at these three scriptures for a little recognition of the good work we do for God by knowing when and how to hold our tongue, by having the ability to remain calm, and for acting in kindness when under fire.
Silence is NOT ignorant: Proverbs 17:28… Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
Calmness is NOT acceptance: Ecclesiastes 10:4… If the ruler’s temper rises against you, do not abandon your position, because composure allays great offenses.
Kindness is NOT weakness: 2 Timothy 1:7… For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
