Growth Is Optional

“I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD Almighty. “But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’ Malachi 3:6-7
Oh, we are going to change, for the good and the bad…we are human. We, of course, want much more of ‘the good’ and we know when we are partnered with God He can even help us gain a little good- out of our bad.
But, it is hard to grow. We have to be humble and true to ourselves, to God, and often to others. We have to labor in the discipline of reform. Yet, there is comfort in one great reassure…
Our Heavenly Father, our leader, and friend is everything always!
Our Father has everything we need, every day and always. He DOES-NOT-CHANGE! The above image reminds me of summer days gone and fall approaching. And these fall days will blur by just as our favorite seasons always do…but with change comes a new growth.
Let’s grow within the GLORY OF OUR FATHER… the unchanging, Almighty Father of Love.
Faith Infused Living ~ Reaching Goals Higher

Nice post, Niccie! I’ve recently read the popular book, “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success,” by Carol Dweck. This brings the perspective that “with the right mindset, we can motivate our kids and help them to raise their grades, as well as reach our own goals—personal and professional.” When we focus on God, we celebrate the mercies of God that are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23), helping us continue to grow each day for HIs glory. Great is His faithfulness!
