Sure, we work to follow God’s laws, even with human sin, we have the heart to follow Him. But, unlike this image, I don’t think it is as simple as just explaining our mishaps as ignore the rules. I truly wonder if we really know all of God’s commands? Most of us could rattle off the 10 Commandments and we do our best to keep them! But there are so many wonderful commands that God shares in the pages of the Bible, boldly typed in black and white, with one intention… To better our lives, so we can serve more of God’s people and help us all get back to Him before the end.

As I begin coaching new clients, it never fails… people want to know more and I love it!

As they see more of God’s truth, wisdom, and power working in their lives, they want more. Yet there are still so MANY amazing and wonderful people not reading the Bible and I don’t want anyone to feel bad about that. It can be truly overwhelming. First of all, picking out the right Bible, then finding ways for it to make sense.

There are so many things I have learned about helping folks get into the Word. There are ways to make it fun and easy to understand. I give my clients tips on what Bible they might like best and why, where they should even start when trying to begin reading the Bible, and how to apply what they read into their daily life.  And don’t be fooled, there are many wonderful ways to hear and learn the Word without laboring over each word. I give a list of my favorite Christian podcasters and bloggers so you don’t need to spend hours finding the good stuff.  You can get right to the best- for quick 10 minute lessons that you can hear and apply while heading to work, on a car ride, or as you head out for a morning run. I include a 15-minute recording of me highlighting all 66 books of the Bible in one or two sentences per book helping you to get the big picture before you try to make sense of this masterpiece. I started message mapping, which is a wonderful way to dig deeper into the word, and I included some tools and tips for folks that want this too.  (This fall I begin a tour of workshops teaching people how to dive into the Word with message mapping- And I can’t wait!)
