The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

Proverbs 13:4

Have you ever gotten out of a routine and knew it wasn’t good for you? Yet, you still found it hard to get back into the wonderful pattern you once had. Then today’s post is f0r you and me!

I don’t care if it is exercise, diet, devotionals, or even something like a routine day where you do something that helps you stay on top of things. Our bodies know when we are out of sync. We can recognize this by a craving we feel…which never fills.   The last few days I have been working on my website, been at a conference in Ohio for the Awaking the Living Legacy book, and I’m trying to get everyone converted over to the new website…. This got me all off track on doing my blog posts, which I just love to do, and it feels wrong to be missing them!

So tonight, as I started to get ready for bed- feeling like I really should have done a post… I thought of this verse. Then I bee-lined it into my office and jotted down these few words of confessed honesty and encouragement to you.

We can restart any day, why not now?

Developing good habits are such a gift to our souls. Habits help us recognize when we are off track because we definitely can feel something being wrong. If you have any routines you once did and for whatever reason, you have gotten out of the habbit….consider this Bible verse. Goodbye sluggish and craving…. Hello  diligent and richly supplied!

Let’s pray for strength and discipline as we strive to restart our routines we know are so good for us! Choose one thing that you really wish you could get back in the habit of doing…..Call on God…  And be richly blessed!
