BIRTHDAYS

Today is my birthday. It rolled around like most any day. I popped up and wondered why my muscles were a bit stiff and sore (Yes, I truly wonder this every morning, thinking my body should still feel like it did in my twenties!) Regardless, I greet God, thank Him, consider any appointed to-do list He might have for me… and I begin my day.
Coffee, light candles, music, and greet Jeff who is typically in the middle of his morning routine. I suppose many of us are like this. Morning routines. You younger gals, I remember it being so busy. I absolutely loved those child-raising years but boy I sure do saver the quiet and focus, of my morning routine.
My point being, is a birthday any different than any other day? I booked this day full weeks ago not even realizing it was my birthday. Half of last year I told people my age incorrectly. (Oops, I even misspoke on the OLD side. Gurr!)
However, today I do feel it is special… Simply for taking a moment to stop and think of how precious life is. Yes, life in this crazy world. Life that brings so much good. And bad. Life that moves to the next in the blink of an eye.
Life.
I am grateful for life. I am grateful for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control that is growing in me…AND IN SO MANY OF YOU as we age and grow deeper in our faith… Yet, another year!
CELEBRATING ANOTHER YEAR OF FAITH INFUSED LIVING BY US ALL,
Blessings and Joy,
Niccie
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Happy birthday Niccie, I hope it’s the best one ever 🙂
