What a Beautiful Friday It Is, I Choose Joy!

Today I Choose Joy, and what a beautiful Friday it is!

Today is ‘Feel it Friday” where I simply blog what is written on my heart. First, apologies, you will be getting a two for one today. I was so caught up in doing a live Facebook video yesterday for our “Vlogging Thoughts Thursday” that I forgot to hit send on my email list and you all got NOTHING 🙁  So today’s post includes yesterday Vlog video AND today’s topic relates!

Yesterday I spoke of warnings- warnings and awareness of not just what GOD is doing to reach us, but also what the little ‘g’ god is trying to do to reach us. That can get a little deep sometimes and my video tries to be real- and little humorous. Although comedy will never be my gift- unless you are laughing at me 🙂 So today’s post is about some awesome things we can do to deepen our relationship with God, increase our faith, and celebrate the awesome power of the Almighty!

Pastor Mark got a call from me not too long ago. I just wanted some clarity on a few verses that could speak the power of looking to God for this increased place of faith and relationship. He gave me two verses that simply sunk into my soul. So now I am sharing them with you!

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

By doing this we not only shut out darkness and it’s power. We build upon our relationship with God by being obedient…this then results in increased faith. Every time we act in faith, the labor is not unnoticed. Good comes of seeking the knowledge of God: Trust, act, and embrace your relationship with your Triune.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

Oh, how I love this verse. We all have trials, and God does not abandon us during them. Give darkness no place in your transformation. Simply cling to the Lord and wisdom and strength. This diligent faithful labor will result in such blessings. Peace being one of them. Oh, so many long to feel the great healing power of peace. Trust, act, and embrace your relationship with your Triune.
