With All Your Might

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, Ecclesiastes 9:10

Isn’t this image simply the cutest! This is a friends daughter. You can probably guess that she is experiencing a ‘Color Run’ for the first time. But, it is her determined focus that I find so precious and beautiful.

This Bible verse is one I’ve repeated over and over throughout my years. I love to do work with a heart that knows it should give it’s all.

Oh, I’m not perfect which is why I have repeated it so often over the years. But today, I simply want us to remember that whatever we are doing we should do it as working for the LORD, not man. And we should do it with ALL OUR MIGHT.

Whether you are at home today with children giving them your all, working in a hospital, at a local business, or sitting in a cubicle crunching numbers. We need to think of those we serve with a focus that drives us to do our best for them!

Today, let’s let this precious child inspire us to do our work with all our might!

  1. It looks like a color run, but I can’t jog or run to save my life (neither can her grandparents who took her 😉 ). It was the Midsummers Night Dream Colour Festival in our city. And my daughter keeps calling the chalk “fairy dust” – oh, to have the imagination and joy of an almost 4 year old!
