Vlogging Thoughts Thursday, 'Mark 6:31 Today's White Space'

White Space… a buzz word in the working world. We always do circle back to what was written years ago, don’t we? Well, I agree with businesses all around teaching and supporting their employees to rest, clear their mind, and to allow the free thought that comes to quiet spaces.

The number of thoughts we process these days is mind boggling, really. Just look at what our 3 graders did in the 60s or 70s and now look at the level of achievement and advancement they must do to keep up. Now take a minute to think on your job. How much or little did one do in your position years ago? And, there are countries that far exceed our standards in terms of expectations. We are wearing ourselves out! When we do this, we are not productive.

Oh, I love seeing just how much we can really do and I know that we are still nowhere near our capability. However, we need to be wise. White space, a place for clearing the mind of all of the anxious thoughts, decision, pressures, and fatigue we experience.

In today’s Vlogging video, I look at Mark 6:31 and share a few beliefs I have on the matter… Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
