Staying hopeful during the remaining cold days of winter?

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19

I love Christmas, family, giving, and a renewed heart for just what we have been given through the birth of Jesus. However, there is something about the holiday passing that can bring a bit of despair. Is it loved ones gone again- off on their busy way? Or possibly the music that plays on our small town streets that quiets of the familiar carols? Or, as the spirit of giving slows so mimics the spirit of our loving hearts.

So how do we stay hopeful during the remaining cold days of winter?

That’s today’s blog. And, this Bible verse tells us to look for a new thing and to try to perceive it. The interesting thing to me is not that we just need to look for “a” new thing. I truly feel the key here is….

To look for the new thing that GOD is going to make for you!

This new way will take you out of the wilderness and provide a spring to the wasteland! This is my hope for us all today. To look hopefully through the next few months of winter. to pray to God to reveal your new way, for you to be wise to His guidance, to hear Him and see Him, and to listen.

Look to 2017 with joy and hope in God… and He will take care of the joy and hope you will feel throughout the year!
